Where people listen
Imagine if I had a panic attack every day at 10am?!. Spending a lifetime single is not something most people would choose to do, but fear of being forever single should never be a deciding factor in entering a marriage, lest serious problems go unaddressed before serious commitments are made. Accompany them and support them for as long as you can and then remind them why you joined together. I can understand his desire to spend time together to reconnect, but right now it really isn't there. I had no idea how hard it could get.
I know a non-Mormon guy who married a Mormon woman and has kept her beautiful and desirable, by encouraging her religious involvement, even though he avoided Mormonism himself. And sometimes I think we equate easiness with happiness. My mom works in the medical profession, and it was always hard when she was on call or had to work late, but she definitely works hard. I've had friends with spouses that got Fulbrights or grants to study in other countries. The extent of other physical activity depends on what you both want from the relationship, though in general the Mormon Church frowns on sexual contact even beyond intercourse. You should also be willing to date other people. Juggle them with a working wife, a housewife with children and things become difficult. If you are very much willing to accept and understand all of these, whether you are a Mormon or not, you can expect that it is fun to date a Mormon girl. I am a non Mormon.
